CaroMont Health Imaging Services is a full-service facility capable of providing all your imaging needs.  We have three locations with specialized services – The Diagnostic Center on Cox Road, Summit Place off of Court Drive and the Radiology Department at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

Our radiologists are board certified and specialized to interpret any imaging examination. Our technologists are highly trained and extremely competent in their field. Even more important, every one here will do their very best to get your patients’ results to you as quickly as possible.

A new addition to our arsenal of diagnostic services is the Women’s Imaging Center. This is a 5-star facility designed to pamper women who need mammograms, ultrasounds or bone density tests.

At CaroMont Health Imaging Services, we are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our patients while offering the most technologically-advanced radiology services available. To that end, we are installing a Regional PET-CT Center. This new technology will be a tremendous help to physicians in the detection and treatment of cancer.

Our high field MRI imaging equipment provides the highest resolution images possible. Because patient satisfaction is a priority, we go the extra step and use a short bore MRI which can accommodate nearly every type of patient: obese, claustrophobic, pediatric, etc. The short bore keeps the patient virtually free from the enclosed or confined atmosphere associated with a traditional MRI. If desired, patients also can have a family member or friend with them during the examination.

Our multi-slice, volumetric spiral CT scanner is the latest in CT technology. Not only does it offer unprecedented power and speed, it provides extraordinary versatility in creating multi-planar 3D images. In addition to normal CT imaging, our CT scanner is ideal for high-resolution lung scans for the early detection of cancers, heart disease, lesions, asbestosis and many other hidden diseases.

CaroMont Health Imaging Services offers flexible appointment times to meet the demands of every physician’s office. We offer an on-line referral sheet for your physician's office. And now, with PACS, you will no longer will you have to wait for results because you can see your images immediately – right on your own computer!
